Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is an essential member of the International Study Center (ISC) team and the on-going success of its operations. This person is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of the ISC on a day-to-day basis. This role reports to the Center Director and works closely with the Academic Manager and Student Success Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage student orientation
  • Manage internal systems and student database
  • Manage student records
  • Manage student assistants
  • Liaise with multiple university offices for day-to-day center operations  
  • Support Center Director in compliance and accreditation
  • Support recruiting and on-boarding of ISC staff
  • Oversee student billing, invoicing, and payments
  • Record, generate, and disperse reports for internal and external use
  • Coordinate student insurance, housing, and documentation with appropriate campus personnel
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 4 or more years of administrative management experience in an office environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to provide great customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Understanding of the US University system and environment and of the demands that international students will face in undertaking undergraduate or graduate level study
  • Previous experience in a pathway or intensive English program preferred
  • Previous experience with accreditation and compliance preferred
  • Previous experience as DSO, HR, and/or project management highly preferred
